The project “Connectt” is about how humans can become one through music. The story of the film is a comment on the extreme individualism in nowadays society. For decades we have been told to wear our own masks before helping others. The project promotes choir singing and dancing, as these disciplines represent collectivism. A choir is similar to a group of dancers, each breath depends on the other, and it’s all about the connection and timing in between. The film is built around a circle choreography (Simone Ballan) of six people and the song is arranged (Ingrid Paskell) in a sextet. The environment represents modern society, where individuals are moving on their own. A change of scenery shows the togetherness in the surroundings of the purity of nature.
